@ShaneTalbot @kEGEL_Lg @Xfinity Your modems and routers are bad then. I’m forced to use the xfinity gateway to get unlimited data per month while remote working but if I use my @NETGEARgaming router I easily get 400+ so long as internet into the house is stable. Which is the larger issue.

Not one customer service rep at @comcast wants to do anything. @comcast will not put their pricing online. They want to call & keep small business owners on the phone instead of letting us research puselves.. Even the chat CSR pushed me to someone else. @comcastcares

@ShaneTalbot @kEGEL_Lg @Xfinity @NETGEARgaming Can’t say for certain about laptops or any device in specific but I regularly get speeds above 300 on wifi which is all I ever need. Went to gig line to make sure I never dropped below 300. Unfortunately with WFH I needed the unlimited data which forced me to use the XFI gear.

I’ve never in my life had more problems with cable and internet working than I have with @comcast . It’s boarderline insanity that my cable works half the time and my internet is the biggest piece of hot garabage. I’ve probably reset my modem 10,000 times since I’ve had this

@jack_daniel I hate to say this, been Comcast customer for a very loooong time, but AT&T is performing really well. They're the only one providing Fiber in my area and I get great up/down speeds, almost 0 downtime in a year. Comcast has drop at least once a month.

@CheeseForEvery1 Thank you! We are thinking about switching from Comcast to Verizon at this point because some troubleshooting boards have said if it’s not the hardware it’s the provider. Any help would be appreciated.

Traders! Have a backup internet connection go with a dedicated provider like ATT EVEN if slower or home Tmobile service because while @xfinity may be lightning fast (when its working) its SO UNRELIABLE- please share any thoughts or services you’re happy with!

@restoringknives @comcast Yeah it's either Comcast or Xfinity in my neighborhood, and both have terrible reviews from people in our subdivsion. So we went with the fiber one. Which is great when they aren't throttling us or doing maintenance in the middle of the day or just randomly DCing.

It has taken me 4 attempts to set up new cable/internet service with @Xfinity. Their systems are both outdated and slow. If it wasn't 1/2 the price of my current bill, I wouldn't be leaving @RCNconnects - who has excellent service. Reconsidering the switch after all this. #monday
