They will be preparing for the time when all these skills will materialize in several plays presented for the public. For the adults, the Summer program holds varied interests.

A tops club is being formed for all those women who would like to lose a few pounds by pleasant methods. Tops is a national organization approved by the medical profession and the American Medical association. "Self Defense For Women" a weeks course begin June 24. Registration for this program will continue to June 17. Assisting with instruction will be representatives of the Pottstown Police department.

For aspiring artists, George (Bucky) Walters, 1o- cal artist will conduct course in landscape painting. Field trips 1 to many parts of Pottstown will be an essential part of this oil and water painting excursion. Once again, the YWCA will conduct an arts and crafts program at Penn Village every Thursday for six weeks beginning July 8. Mrs. Mark Collins will be project advisor with Sharon Warne as director.

The program will be expanded to take in a larger range of girls and will feature such projects as contact boxes and clay modeling.
